Was Left Shark's day rate too high? With four months to go until Sharknado 3's release, Syfy is going knee-deep in the shark-infested waters, adding a handful of new cast members to the fray.
Joining mainstays Ian Ziering (Finley "Fin" Shepherd) and Tara Reid (April Wexler) for the Washington, D.C.-set TV movie will be Mark Cuban, as the president, and — wait for it — conservative commentator Ann Coulter as his VP.
PHOTOS: Stars who've played the president
"I had a blast doing it," Shark Tank's outspoken star and owner of the Dallas Mavericks told Us Weekly this week after his casting was confirmed. "Lots of shooting, running, and sharking — in a very presidential manner."
Cuban and Coulter are just two of the celebs who will appear in the satirical film's third installment, which Syfy hints will "cause mass destruction in the nation's capital."
Not willing to wait until July to see what other, um, stars will go up against the sharks? Let Us whet your appetite: Bo Derek has signed on as April's mom, 'N Sync's Chris Kirkpatrick plays a lifeguard, and Jerry Springer lends a hand as tourist Mr. White. (Spoiler alert: Mr. White ends up seeing red at the end of his cameo).
Great fun being in #Sharknado3. But -- spoiler alert — it doesn't end well for me.
