The Oscar-winning actress, 41, joined Isbell's opening act, Holly Williams, toward the end of her set, taking on the role of backup singer. "She sang really well and with passion and perfectly on key," an onlooker tells Us Weekly , noting that the audience got progressively more into it as she performed. "She got a little cheer from the crowd."

Williams—the granddaughter of legendary country singer Hank Williams Sr., and the daughter of musician Hank Williams Jr.—then took a moment to introduce the Iron Man 3 star, saying, "It's awesome to have Gwyneth onstage with me. [She's] such a talented singer, which you know if you've seen the movie Country Strong." (Paltrow played an alcoholic country music star in the 2010 drama.)

The two proceeded to duet on another song, "Waiting on June," from Williams' 2013 album, The Highway. "As she and Holly closed the set together, the crowd warmed to her and gave her a huge cheer," the eyewitness tells Us of the newly single Goop founder, who looked casual in a printed jumpsuit and a black leather jacket.

Paltrow's vocal chops are fairly well-known by now. Long before she took the stage in Country Strong, she covered the song "Cruisin'" for the 2000 movie Duets. She also has a recurring role on Glee as Holly Holiday, a singing substitute teacher at McKinley High.
