Mean Girls Stars Rachel McAdams, Tina Fey and Lacey Chabert Reflect on 10th Anniversary

"Fetch" is very much still happening! Minus Lindsay Lohan , the stars of Mean Girls -- Rachel McAdams , Tiny Fey , Lacey Chabert, Daniel Franzese, and Lizzy Caplan—reflected on the movie's legacy with the New York Times ahead of its 10th anniversary on Wednesday, April 30. Here's what these five characters had to say about their roles, plus Us Weekly selects their best quotes from the movie!

PHOTOS: Lindsay Lohan's film career through the years

1. Tina Fey on Ms. Norbury

Background: The 30 Rock standout played the character of Ms. Norbury, who was accused of peddling drugs after a vicious rumor was started by The Plastics. "I revisited high school behaviors of my own—futile, poisonous, bitter behaviors that served no purpose," Fey told the Times. "That thing of someone saying 'You’re really pretty' and then, when the other person thanks them, saying, 'Oh, so you agree? You think you’re pretty?' That happened in my school. That was a bear trap," the Philly-area native recalled.

On the movie's successes, Fey—who wrote the screenplay of the 2004 hit—joked, "I think we mostly have TBS to thank. It's always on TBS." She also shared that Mean Girls is currently in the process of being turned into a musical. "I wish so badly we could have had it done in some form for the 10th anniversary," she said, "but hopefully before the 15th."

Best Quote: "Oh, hi. Did you wanna buy some drugs?"

PHOTOS: Celebrity drug confessions

2. Rachel McAdams on Regina George

Background: McAdams was a little-known actress back in 2004 on the brink of superstardom. In the movie, she played the beautiful, evil leader of The Plastics, Regina George. "At the heart of Regina George was a really angry kid who had no boundaries or guidance," she told the Times of her character. To channel her character, "[Director Mark Waters] told me to listen to Courtney Love really loud, and to watch Alec Baldwin in Glengarry Glen Ross."

On the movie's success, the Notebook star, 35, called it "surprising,” and elaborated: "When you're making something, you kind of have no concept of it. But this was the script that made me call my manager halfway through and say, 'I will play any part in this.' Tina hit a nerve about girl politics, but in a nonconfrontational way." The star added that she gets asked to quote the movie by fans, worldwide. "I recently stayed at a bed-and-breakfast in Europe, and the owner's young granddaughter asked me to write down a few lines from the movie at breakfast. I was like a deer in headlights. I couldn't remember any. And she proceeded to give me 12 direct quotes."

Best Quote: "Gretchen, stop trying to make fetch happen! It's not going to happen!"

PHOTOS: Costars couples!

3. Lacey Chabert on Gretchen Wieners

Background: Chabert played Gretchen Wieners, the incredibly ditzy heiress of Toaster Strudel and right-hand woman to Regina George, in the film. "I was never the cool kid," Chabert told the Times. "I wore Minnie Mouse stuff. And growing up in Hollywood, I always felt under a microscope."

Chabert said of her character's most quotable moment: "Probably about a hundred times a day, people will write the 'fetch' line to me on Twitter."

Best Quote: "That is so fetch!"

PHOTOS: Most romantic movies of all time

4. Lizzy Caplan on Janis Ian

Background: Caplan played anti-Plastic Janis Ian in the movie—an outspoken goth whose best friend is Damian. "I think all girls that age are looking for their 'thing.' I was fairly angsty in high school," Caplan told the Times. "I had my hair dyed black and was into Charles Bukowski… Honestly, I had zero idea that people wouldn't find my look in that movie very cool and kinda sexy."

Caplan, who now plays Virginia Johnson on Masters of Sex, added that her present-day colleagues are very much into the movie. "I've had quite a few crew members on later gigs bring in DVDs for me to sign for their daughters, who must have been, like, toddlers when we shot the film," she said.

Best Quote: "You're plastic. Cold, shiny, hard PLASTIC."

PHOTOS: Reunited costars!

5. Daniel Franzese on Damian

Background: Franzese tackled the role of big, lovable and gay BFF of Janis, who welcomed Lohan's character Cady Heron with open arms when she first arrived at school. "All of a sudden there were 14-year-old girls following me in their uniforms," he recalled of fame while living on the Upper East Side back in 2004. "I grew a beard, and I would do that thing like in the movies—wait until a bus came by, then run with the bus."

Best Quote: "Four for you. You go Glen Coco! ...And none for Gretchen Wieners."

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Review: Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone's Affection Is "Blissfully, Impressively Evident" in Sequel

In theaters Friday, May 2

3 1/2 stars (out of 4 stars)

When it comes to creating chemistry on screen, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone don't need any help from those whizzes in CGI department. A real-life couple for almost three years now, their affection for each other is blissfully, impressively evident in this sequel. And they electrify amid a flurry of wily, spine-tingling thrills and swooping action taking place over the heart of New York City.

PHOTOS: Andrew and Emma's romance

Yep, this is a rare big-budget superhero movie that should please both old-school comic books aficionados—and anyone simply craving a sweet, fizzy love story. (Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst , also an off-screen couple for a spell, couldn't pull this trick off entirely in their Spider-Man trilogy.)

Garfield's angst-ridden teen, Peter Parker, is still moonlighting as a costumed vigilante and living with his dear aunt (Sally Field). When he's not rescuing a geeky kid from school bullies or stopping a heist in Times Square, he's ga-ga over Stone's irrepressible Gwen Stacy. But even their relationship causes agita: Because of a promise made to Gwen's police chief dad before he died, Peter tries oh so hard to keep her out of harm's way.

PHOTOS: Stars as superheroes!

It's a futile endeavor. Which is a shame for Peter and Gwen, yet delicious for moviegoers who like their candy-colored villains devious and interesting. In one evil corner is a sad-sack engineer (Jamie Foxx ) at Gwen’s OsCorp lab—also a fanatical Spider-Man groupie—who has an accident and falls into a tank full of eels. He morphs into a monster that radiates anger and can manipulate NYC's electricity. A scene in which the former outcast stealthily trolls an empty street, setting off ringers and car alarms is visually stirring.

The other bad guy has an OsCorp link too; a much stronger one. Peter's long-lost childhood friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan) is a millionaire scion ailing from a genetic disease —and seeking Spider-Man's special blood, at any cost, to cure him. After Peter and the web slinger rebuff him, he turns dark. Actually, he turns green. Though Harry is sidelined for long stretches, the mesmerizing DeHaan leaves an impression. (And it must be said that with his steely eyes and floppy hair, he eerily resembles a Basketball Diaries-era Leonardo DiCaprio ).

PHOTOS: Stars in Spider-Man suits

Even with these lively forces, Garfield and Stone spark with the most power. As flirty Gwen needles Peter about his "big brown doe eyes" and Peter teases her about her hearty laugh, the banter is reminiscent of a charming rom-com. Garfield can talk in interviews all he wants about his creative process for delving into Spidey's neurotic psyche—the joy is written all over his face when Peter sees Gwen waiting for him on a sidewalk and he jaywalks through heavy traffic just to get to her.

Their closeness is woven throughout a film that infuses high-flying moments from the get-go. (Talking in the literal sense: A terror-in-the-friendly-skies prologue is a white-knuckler of a sequence.) The relationship also stands up during the installment's overly tangled and weighty third act, which features no less than five potential final scenes. The connection is just that special.

No wonder he'd jump off a tall building for her.

Gwyneth Paltrow Sings Backup for Holly Williams at the Roxy: Picture

Talk about getting more than you paid for! Fans at West Hollywood's famed nightclub The Roxy were treated to an extra-special guest appearance by A-list superstar Gwyneth Paltrow when they attended singer-songwriter Jason Isbell's show on Monday, April 28.

PHOTOS: Gwyneth's BFFs

The Oscar-winning actress, 41, joined Isbell's opening act, Holly Williams, toward the end of her set, taking on the role of backup singer. "She sang really well and with passion and perfectly on key," an onlooker tells Us Weekly , noting that the audience got progressively more into it as she performed. "She got a little cheer from the crowd."

PHOTOS: Gwyneth's bikini body

Williams—the granddaughter of legendary country singer Hank Williams Sr., and the daughter of musician Hank Williams Jr.—then took a moment to introduce the Iron Man 3 star, saying, "It's awesome to have Gwyneth onstage with me. [She's] such a talented singer, which you know if you've seen the movie Country Strong." (Paltrow played an alcoholic country music star in the 2010 drama.)

PHOTOS: Gwyneth's most obnoxious quotes

The two proceeded to duet on another song, "Waiting on June," from Williams' 2013 album, The Highway. "As she and Holly closed the set together, the crowd warmed to her and gave her a huge cheer," the eyewitness tells Us of the newly single Goop founder, who looked casual in a printed jumpsuit and a black leather jacket.

PHOTOS: Gwyneth and Chris through the years

Paltrow's vocal chops are fairly well-known by now. Long before she took the stage in Country Strong, she covered the song "Cruisin'" for the 2000 movie Duets. She also has a recurring role on Glee as Holly Holiday, a singing substitute teacher at McKinley High.

Sharknado 3 Headed for Syfy in Summer 2015

Severe weather alert! Yet another city will face potential destruction when Sharknado 3 hits Syfy in the summer of 2015, the network announced in a press release on Wednesday, April 30.

PHOTOS: Celebs' horror movie pasts

The first sequel in the made-for-TV franchise, Sharknado 2: The Second One, has yet to even air, but if the response to last summer's inaugural broadcast is any sign of things to come, producers are smart to lock up a third installment. Some 1.4 million viewers tuned in to watch the original flick in 2013, and social media was flooded -- pun intended -- with Sharknado tweets following the premiere.

PHOTOS: Best and worst movie remakes

"I'm just as stunned as everyone else," Sharknado star Tara Reid told HLN earlier this year of the massive success of the movie. "Come on, I did it as a joke! I didn't even think anyone was going to see it. And then what happened has never happened before on any movie. Even now, you thought the buzz was going to stop about Sharknado, but it just keeps going."

PHOTOS: Celeb bikini malfunctions

That's due in part to the upcoming Sharknado 2, which is set to premiere on Syfy on July 30. Reid and costar Ian Ziering will reprise their roles from the first film, alongside franchise newcomers Vivica A. Fox and Mark McGrath.

PHOTOS: Breakout stars

"I can't tell too much -- I'm not allowed to, to be honest with you -- but you can definitely expect it to be as entertaining, if not more, believe it or not, as the first one," Reid told HLN of the sequel, which takes place in New York. She went on to recall a scene in the first film in which she ends up in the stomach of a shark, saying, "You think, 'How are you going to top that?' Well, we're actually pretty close to topping it."

Tell Us: Will you tune in to Sharknado 3?

New Kids on the Block Gets a Cruise-Themed Reality Series on TV Guide Network

New Kids on the...Boat? TV Guide Network announced Tuesday, April 29, that it has ordered a brand-new reality show starring '90s boy band New Kids on the Block.

PHOTOS: The biggest boy bands of all time

The show, titled Rock This Boat: New Kids on the Block, is billed as an eight-episode series that will feature the band's fans—a.k.a. Blockheads—on a weeklong cruise with the group. The network has also ordered a casting special, presumably to find the most loyal NKOTB followers. (It's like a Saturday Night Live skit waiting to happen!)

PHOTOS: The hottest teen idols ever

New Kids—which, as Blockheads know, is made up of brothers Jordan and Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Danny Wood, and the newly engaged Donnie Wahlberg—broke up in the mid-1990s but reunited in 2008 to record a new album and go on tour. In the years since, they've sponsored multiple concert cruises, which are so popular that they have a wait list of thousands. A 2014 cruise, from New York City to Bermuda, is scheduled for June.

PHOTOS: Stars in concert

Currently, the band is preparing for their European tour, which kicks off on May 6 in Stockholm. They also have a New Kids on the Block: After Dark special scheduled for July at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.

PHOTOS: Stars who got their start on reality TV

Rock This Boat: New Kids on the Block is one of several new projects announced by TVGN. The network is also developing a "real-life Pitch Perfect" docu-series about college a cappella groups around the country. Another project, Soap Town, will follow a group of former soap actors as they attempt to produce a new series in which they'll also star.

Kandi Burruss' Wedding TV Show: Mama Joyce Fights With Todd Tucker's Mom in Dramatic First Look

The drama never ends in Hotlanta. Just as the most intense season ever of Real Housewives of Atlanta winds down (part three of the knock-down reunion airs this Sunday), series vet Kandi Burruss is gearing up for her own limited-run spinoff: Her April 4 wedding to Todd Tucker!

PHOTOS: Real Housewives weddings

Us Weekly has the first look at The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Kandi's Wedding, which premieres on Bravo Sunday, June 1 at 8 p.m. EST. As Burruss and her man race to put the finishing touches on their over-the-top bash (hint: it's inspired by Coming to America!), there are multiple external factors making the blessed day more stressful than usual.

PHOTOS: Real Housewives husbands hall of fame

For starters, there's Burruss' notoriously opinionated Mama Joyce, whose disapproval for Todd was a painful sticking point thoughout season six. What happens when Todd's own mother joins the fray? What about Kandi's best friend Carmen, the victim of a rumor planted by Joyce? And what role will a small-person stripper—and a lion—have to do with the wedding day?!

PHOTOS: Before they were Real Housewives

Burruss is just the latest of Housewives alum to snag a wedding-themed spinoff. NeNe Leakes, Bethenny Frankel, Tamra Barney and Kim Zolciak all similarly invited Bravo's cameras into their special day. Watch the tearful, action-packed preview of Kandi's Wedding now!

Idina Menzel Is "Absolutely" Interested in Playing Queen Elsa Live in Frozen Broadway Musical

Idina Menzel wants to build a snowman… on Broadway! The actress, who voiced Queen Elsa in Disney's record-breaking animated movie, Frozen, told Cosmopolitan.com last Friday, April 25, that she was open to reprising her role in the movie's Broadway adaptation.

"Yes! Sure! Absolutely!" she said at Variety's Power of Women luncheon. Menzel, 42, already a Broadway veteran, is currently starring in musical If/Then.

PHOTOS: Hilarious awards show audience reactions!

The Tony-winning actress received her first taste of mainstream mega-caliber success for lending her vocals to Frozen's smash song "Let It Go," which won the Best Song Oscar last month. "It was such a dream of mine to be in the Disney family and become an animated queen," Menzel told Cosmo. Since its release last November, Frozen has become the highest-grossing animated movie in history, presumably prompting Disney to bring the film to life onstage as it has for other Disney classics like the Lion King, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast.

PHOTOS: Biggest Oscars gaffes ever

Not all fans want Menzel, however, to play Elsa. The actress joked to Cosmo how her 4-year-old son Walker (with estranged husband Taye Diggs ) would prefer for his mommy to "dress up like the Michael Jackson zombie from 'Thriller.'"

PHOTOS: Stars as super heroes

Whether or not she's tapped to revive the role of Elsa on Broadway, Menzel told Backstage magazine in early April that she is trying to live by what's good right now. "I'm always afraid to hope for something because I don't want to be disappointed," Menzel said in the interview. "Instead of worrying, why not enjoy the idea of the positive outcome, and if it doesn't happen, you get over it."

PHOTOS: Celebrity PDA at the 2014 Oscars

Like Menzel, costar Kristen Bell has also expressed interest in reprising her role as Princess Anna on Broadway. "Everybody in Frozen is a Broadway veteran so I certainly hope they try and wrangle us," Bell—who made her Broadway debut back in 2001 in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer—said of Disney to EW Radio.

The blonde Veronica Mars star, proving her live performance chops, delivered a flawless rendition of "Do You Want to Build a Snowman" during a Frozen cabaret back in February. "I've wanted to be a Disney princess since I was five years old!" Bell told the crowd.
