Good grief! Charlie Brown, beloved pet pal Snoopy, and the entire Peanuts gang are coming to the big screen… in 3-D. Blue Sky Studios and 20th Century Fox released a teaser trailer from the upcoming animated reboot of Charles M. Schulz's popular comic strip on Tuesday, March 18.

The preview clip features Charlie Brown's enormous bald head (and his single wispy strand of hair) as earth's looming horizon, and pans out to reveal the character in his trademark bumblebee shirt. Snoopy then jumps in, gives a mischievous wave, and runs dizzying circles around his hapless owner Charlie Brown.
The sequence is set to the tune of Vince Guaraldi's "Linus and Lucy" Peanuts theme song, with Woodstock, Snoopy's canary pal, making a cameo towards the end of the clip.

Peanuts, the feature film, will remain true to Schulz's vision, especially with the late creator's son Craig Schulz and grandson Bryan Schulz on the movie's production and writing team. "I'm way more protective than my father would have been," Schulz told USA Today of the upcoming reboot. "Our No. 1 goal was always to be authentic to his work and legacy."

Steve Martino of Ice Age: Continental Drift directs. "Charlie Brown is the guy who picks himself up after every fall and tries again. That's what is powerful to me," Martino explained to the paper. "These characters are known and loved worldwide, and now we have an opportunity to bring them to a new generation."
The film will hit theaters in November 2015. Watch here!
