Game of Thrones' Lena Headey: Cersei and Jaime Lannister's Incestuous Relationship Is "F---ed Up"

E tu, Cersei? Game of Thrones star Lena Headey, who plays the calculating Queen Cersei in the smash HBO series, confirmed to Us Weekly at the show's NYC premiere on Tuesday, March 18 that just like Us -- she also sees her relationship with Jaime Lannister as messed up in the extreme.

"You know, it's such an interesting relationship," she said of her character's incestuous romance with her twin brother (played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau). "It's a strange one. In another time maybe it could have been something great," she carefully continued. "But it's f---ed up."

In the series based on George R.R. Martin's series, the golden-haired twins share a deeper bond beyond sexual intimacy: the gorgeous siblings are parents to boy terror King Joffrey (and his two younger siblings Myrcella and Tommen). The protective mother of three puts up a fierce front on the show to protect her loved ones -- manipulating and scheming her way through Westeros.

Headey told Us that Cersei will bare even more emotion in episodes to come.

"She's pretty vulnerable this season and unprepared," the British star revealed of her character. "I think she realizes she's quite unprepared for where she is."
