Starting things off with the biggest bang ever! Beyonce and Jay Z kicked off the Grammys 2014 inside L.A.'s Staples Center Sunday, Jan. 26 with a performance that'll be difficult to top. Although rapper Jay Z, 44, is the one up for multiple statues this year for his Holy Grail album, Blue Ivy's mom and dad selected a duet-track from Beyonce's late-December surprise album, "Drunk in Love" for their set. (Us Weekly was first to reveal that the super-couple would be performing together.)

And for the very first live rendition of the romantic, raunchy song -- featuring a guest rap from Jay Z and hot beach-side video -- the couple amped up the intimate, sexy vibe with a dark stage, spotlights and mini-runway. A lingerie-clad Beyonce, 32, started the show as she straddled (and then danced upon) a chair, surrounded by smoke. (The superstar sported wet, chin-length hair and a smoky eye. She donned Saint Laurent tights, a custom bra, a Nicholas de Carle bodysuit, Stuart Weitzman shoes and Jennifer Fisher earrings.
Her hubby then joined her onstage for his guest rap -- and got up close and personal with his world famous wife as they performed the romantic, no-holds-barred track together, just one of several from the Beyonce album that delves into their love and sex life.

Beyonce has spoken at length about the surprisingly sexual content in her smash fifth album -- and about flaunting her hotter-than-ever post-baby body in the visual album's 17 video clips. "I don't have any shame about being sexual. I'm not embarrassed about it," she said in a YouTube "mini documentary" about the making of Beyonce.

"And I don't feel like I have to protect that side of me because I do believe that sexuality is a power we all have."
