Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears Flashback! Remember These Old Performances?

Started from the bottom, now they're here! More than two decades after they first shared a stage together, Christina Aguilera paid homage to fellow former teen queen Britney Spears with an impression of her ex-rival on The Tonight Show.

The two stars have a long, storied history dating all the way back to 1993 — way before they first hit the charts in 1998 and '99 with their respective No. 1 singles "...Baby One More Time" and "Genie in a Bottle."

The then-future pop princesses got their start on The All-New Mickey Mouse Club, aka MMC, alongside other now-famous stars like Justin Timberlake , Ryan Gosling , Keri Russell , and Timberlake's former 'N Sync bandmate JC Chasez .

During their two years on the show, they appeared together in various skits and music numbers -- including this gem of a cover of Aretha Franklin's "Think" from the final season of MMC in 1995.

The performance featured Aguilera on lead vocals, with Spears, Nikki DeLoach, Rhona Bennett, and Ilana Miller as her backup dancers/singers. (Look for the "Work Bitch" singer right behind Aguilera right around the 1:58 mark!)

They also got their groove on in this rendition of "Fools Rush In," along with a denim overalls-wearing Timberlake, whom Spears famously dated from 1999 to 2002.

Ten years after their first meeting, they took the stage again at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards, singing "Like a Virgin" and "Hollywood" alongside none other than the Queen of Pop herself, Madonna . The performance is most often remembered for Madge's steamy kisses with both Spears and Aguilera.
