Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, John Krasinski Take Responsibility, Defend Tom Brady in Deflategate: Hilarious Video

Blame it on Ben... and Matt and John! New England Patriots fans including Ben Affleck , Matt Damon, Chris Evans , Steven Tyler , and John Krasinski (among many others) took responsibility for the ongoing Deflategate scandal, defending star quarterback Tom Brady on the Thursday, Jan. 29 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Super Bowl-bound Brady and Patriots' head coach Bill Belichick have been accused of deflating footballs prior to facing the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship Game. Kimmel gave a status update on the situation, and provided his own clever take on what happens in the wake of a "high-profile crime."

"The NFL is now focusing on a Patriots' locker room attendant," Kimmel noted. "They want to know if he did it, and if he did do it, why? Did Tom Brady ask him to do it? When there's a high-profile crime, all of a sudden a bunch of people come forward and claimed they did it. I don't know if the people we're about to see are trying to protect Tom Brady or if they're mentally ill."

In the clip, numerous Brady fans defend Gisele Bundchen 's husband, taking the blame for the scandal. "Hello, I'm Kiff O'Shannon from Ducksburg," a random man shares in the confessional-type video. "On January 18th of this year, I followed the New England Patriots into Gillette Stadium. I gained access to the locker room and I squeezed all the footballs wicked hard. That is why all the balls were deflated."

Krasinski makes his appearance as "Donald O'Donald McDonald" — Boston accent included — and he, too, takes the blame for the crime. Damon joins in and provides his take on deflating each football, then a mustached Evans also confesses to squeezing the balls before the big game.

Sundance 2015: Sundance 2015: 6 Standout Films Include Brooklyn, I Smile Back, Sleeping With Other People

What am I going to do with you, Sundance? For weeks, I studied your intricate grid schedule and carefully plotted out my day of screenings based on which films would get the most buzz. A post-apocalyptic love triangle featuring Margot Robbie, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Chris Pine ? Oh yeah, I need to be there. Ryan Reynolds as a slippery gambler? Obviously, a must. So I schlep over to a theater, settle into my perfectly unobstructed aisle seat and watch . . . mediocrity. More disheartening, I immediately read on social media that the screening I blew off is "amazing" and "this year's Boyhood." (Sorry I missed you, Me, Earl & The Dying Girl!). I suppose that's part of the frustration of attending the independent film festival in Park City, Utah. And the fun. I watched 17 films in 6 days in all, and these six projects stood out in the best of ways.

1. Brooklyn

There's something so wonderful about a warm, old-fashioned love story. Fine, a warm, old-fashioned weepie. Here, a shy Irish immigrant (Saoirse Ronan, beguiling) in the 1950s is torn between two men (Emory Cohen and Domhnall Gleeson) and two lives on two continents. Sigh.

2. The D Train

Uh, let's just say this impressive dark comedy, about a staid nerd (Jack Black) who tries to up his popularity quotient by luring a charismatic stud (James Marsden) back to Pittsburgh for their 20th high school reunion, ain’t your typical bromance flick. It features awesome retro music too.

3. The End of the Tour

In 1996, a Rolling Stone journalist (Jesse Eisenberg ) followed reclusive best-selling author David Foster Wallace (a sensational Jason Segel ) on his book tour for a profile piece. Their lengthy conversations — which touch on everything from technology fears to loneliness to the merits of Alanis Morissette — are soulful, fascinating and quietly profound.

4. I Smile Back

Sarah Silverman — yes, that Sarah Silverman — is a revelation as a suburban mom who seems to have it all (including Josh Charles as her husband) and yet can't stop self-destructing with drugs. Her unnerving and unfiltered performance will break your heart.

5. Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck

Peel back the tragic life of the iconic Nirvana frontman and you'll find an introverted and artistic kid who just longed for unconditional love. His story is captured in this riveting documentary via intimate home videos, animation, family interviews (both parents speak hauntingly of their son) and, of course, unforgettable music. Cobain's daughter, Frances Bean, just a toddler when he shot himself in 1994, is an executive producer.

6. Sleeping with Other People

"It's like When Harry Met Sally . . . with a--holes" is how writer-director Leslye Headland (The Bachelorette) describes her rom-com. True, but this tale of two sex-addicted pals (Jason Sudeikis and Alison Brie) in NYC who vow to stay platonic with each other is also devilishly charming.

Insurgent Trailer: Shailene Woodley Falls Off Skyscraper in Nightmare-Like New Divergent Sequel

It's every person's worst nightmare. The new trailer for The Divergent Series: Insurgent was released Friday, Jan. 30, and it features heroine Tris (Shailene Woodley ) struggling to survive as she faces nemesis Jeanine (Kate Winslet ).

The preview begins with Woodley's character waking up in a sterile room as she's attached to a series of monitoring devices. Gone are Tris' gorgeous long brunette tresses; instead, she sports a pixie cut. As Tris struggles to break free from the wires, a cobalt blue shift dress-wearing Jeanine analyzes her opponent.

Somehow, Tris breaks free, shatters a glass wall, and lunges at Jeanine, only to find that the evil head of the power-hungry Erudite group disintegrates in her hands. She then falls from a skyscraper as the entire building explodes in her midst.

The synopsis for the upcoming sequel is centered on Tris and her love interest Four (Theo James) as they're currently fugitives in the post-apocalyptic ruins of Chicago. Ted 2 Trailer Debuts Online, Is Just as Crude and Funny as You'd Expect

He's baaaack! Everyone's favorite foul-mouthed teddy bear roared back to life on Thursday, Jan. 29, when Universal Pictures released the long-awaited trailer for Ted 2, the sequel to 2012's irreverent hit comedy Ted, starring Mark Wahlberg.

Like the original, the sequel is directed by Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane (who also voices the character of Ted with a thick Boston accent). Wahlberg reprises his role as Ted's best friend, while Amanda Seyfried (who worked with MacFarlane on A Million Ways to Die in the West) plays the female lead, taking the baton from Mila Kunis .

As seen in the above trailer, the laugh-out-loud second movie finds Ted getting married and trying to start a family with his hot new wife (Jessica Barth, reprising her role as Tami-Lynn). Missy Elliott's ready to work it — at the Super Bowl! The multiplatinum, Grammy-winning rapper will join Katy Perry for Super Bowl XLIX's halftime performance on Feb. 1, a source confirms to Us Weekly . Lenny Kravitz is also slated to perform at halftime during the game in Phoenix.

Perry, 30, hinted at Elliott's involvement in the big show during a press conference Thursday, Jan. 29, telling Us she's "very, very excited" about the "throwback" performer.

"All I can say is that it will be a real female fun night. While exact details of the song list are being kept under wraps, Elliott's "Get Ur Freak On," "Work It" and "Scream a.k.a. Itchin'" are award-winning tunes that would get the crowd pumping at University of Phoenix stadium in Glendale, Ariz.

All Perry will say about her 12-minute routine is that it'll draw on her admiration of past halftime show performers like Beyonce and Madonna . "We're all going to have a wonderful, fun, not-so-serious time. When I look back at the different performers I admire, like Beyonce, who of course brings that incredible strength and sass and flips her hair like nobody else can, and Madonna, who really brought some incredible graphic design and choreography, I kind of wanted to do a combination of both," Perry said.

The bigger the cast, the higher the tension! The Real Housewives of Orange County will return later this year with all of its current cast intact, plus two more additions, a source close to the cast confirms to Us Weekly .

The new women, Meghan King Edmonds and Katie Chadwick Hamilton, are not only residents of the plush West Coast community, but they also happen to be married to pro athletes. Edmonds is the wife of former MLB player and current Fox Sports announcer Jim Edmonds. Other newcomer Hamilton, meanwhile, is the wife of MLB player Josh Hamilton.

While the rookies are likely to bring fresh drama to the mix, a memorable former housewife from the franchise will also make her return as a "friend" in season 10. All hail Elena! Disney has created its first Latina princess — meet Elena of Avalor! The adorable new royal will make her official debut in 2016, during a special episode of Sofia the First, Disney Junior’s hit show for preschoolers.

Princess Elena, who wears a red ruffled dress and is adorned with hoop earrings and a flower garnish in her long dark hair, “is a confident and compassionate teenager in an enchanted fairy tale kingdom inspired by diverse Latin cultures and folklore,” the network said in a statement on Thursday, Jan. 29. She’s “bold, caring, funny, and clever” and is "the ascendant to the throne in the fairy tale kingdom of Avalor."
