On the series premiere of ABC's Resurrection, the shaken residents of Arcadia, Miss., are slowly starting to believe the impossible. Thirty-two years after an 8-year-old boy is presumed dead after falling into a river in an attempt to save a drowning family member, the child suddenly winds up in a Chinese province remembering his name, hometown and little else.
PHOTOS: Memorable TV characters
Calling himself Jacob, the boy (Landon Gimenez) befriends immigration agent J. Martin Bellamy (Omar Epps) and urges Bellamy to return him to his hometown: Arcadia. As the preview video clip above illustrates, those supposedly close to the boy are stunned at the realization that this youngster just might be their relative.

Thinking it's a neighbor returning a borrowed tool, Jacob's father, Henry Langston (Kurtwood Smith), hurries to answer his doorbell and is stunned to see Agent Bellamy on the other side. "Did your son go missing? I have him. He's OK," Bellamy explains to a skeptical Langston in the video clip. "That would be unlikely, because my son died 32 years ago," Langston replies.
As Bellamy begins to backtrack thinking he's offended Langston as the result of a horrible misunderstanding, the gentleman notices young Jacob peering through to the doorway. Later, in a shocking turn of events, the boy stuns Langston when asking him to provide the punchline to a joke only the two understand.

Looks like former Bachelor contestants Sharleen Joynt and Kelly Travis are #TeamAndi. The reality TV stars -- along with fellow contestant Andi Dorfman -- had some fun at Bachelor Juan Pablo Galavis' expense when they gathered in Atlanta, Ga., on Tuesday, Feb. 25 -- the same day Andi's disastrous Fantasy Suite date with Juan Pablo aired on ABC.
In a picture posted to Sharleen's Twitter shortly before the East Coast airing of the episode, Kelly and Andi can be seen reenacting a moment from Andi's dramatic confrontation with Juan Pablo. Andi had been in the middle of telling Juan Pablo why she was leaving when he started picking at something in her eyebrow; Sharleen's photo shows Kelly picking at Andi's face in the same manner.
PHOTOS: Meet Juan Pablo's bachelorettes!
Andi also posted a tweet mocking Juan Pablo's repeated use of the phrase "it's okay," which was one of the things she took issue with in the episode. "Your response is, 'It's okay, it's okay.' Everything's always, 'It's okay,'" she lamented during their face-to-face chat. "I want to die if I have to hear 'It's okay' again. I can't handle it!"
Her tweet on Tuesday made a joke of that. "Good night all! I leave you with some words of wisdom...Always remember...Eeees okay," she quipped.
PHOTOS: The Bachelor's hookups, breakups, and proposals
As noted in Tuesday's recap, Andi left of her own accord after confronting Juan Pablo about their Fantasy Suite date, which she described as "a nightmare." Sharleen left by choice, too, after realizing in episode seven that she wasn't a match for the Venezuelan former soccer pro. Kelly, meanwhile, was eliminated in episode five. But it seems she's stayed in touch with at least a few of the other contestants.

"Atlanta-bound for quality time with everyone's favorite #doglover," Canadian opera singer Sharleen tweeted, referring to Kelly's "occupation" on the show. "Excited to visit Georgia for the first time!" Added Andi, alongside a photo of the trio: "ATL welcomes Canada."
"Love all the support!" she tweeted later. "Even though it didn't work out, I had the most amazing experience of my life! Truly grateful! #noregrets #bachelor"

"Every 10 years I promise to love you," Barrymore, 39, sang. "I'll always be true, even as we get older," Sandler, 47, sang back.
The sweet, emotional duet also had its moments of humor. Sandler joked: "I will still love you when your boobs touch the floor." Barrymore, who is pregnant with her second child, quipped: "So, right now?"

Maks is back! In the latest shakeup related to ABC's Dancing With the Stars , show sources tell Us Weekly that Maksim Chmerkovskiy will be returning to season 18 of the hit reality competition show after a 2-season break.
PHOTOS: Who has Maks hooked up with on DWTS?
Chmerkovskiy, 34, will return once again as a dancing pro, making this his 15th season in the role. The veteran dancer left the reality show back in 2012 after his contract had expired on what was believed to have been tense terms. "Essentially, 80 percent of our job is to give somebody another push in their career," he told the New York Post of his departure. "I loved doing it. But to be honest with you, at 32, I am at what-about-me time."
PHOTOS: Jaw-dropping DWTS makeovers
During his hiatus from DWTS, the Ukrainian-born performer pursued a career in acting, appearing on ABC soap General Hospital for a brief three-episode stint, while filming two movies.
While the exact details of his contract remain unknown, Chmerkovskiy was photographed Wednesday, Feb. 26, leaving a meeting with DWTS executives, where an insider tells Us the deal was arranged. His return to the show comes after much upheaval. In early February, producers fired its longtime music director Harold Wheeler and his orchestra.

And on Saturday, Feb. 22, Brooke Burke-Charvet was fired from Dancing With the Stars after eight seasons as cohost. "Change is positive," Burke-Charvet wrote shortly after DWTS' executive producer Conrad Green confirmed her departure. "I loved my time in the ballroom & I'll love my next chapter too."
Most interesting to watch in the upcoming season, however, will be Chmerkovskiy's dynamics with newly-confirmed cohost Erin Andrews . The Fox Sports sideline reporter placed third in season 11 of DWTS with Chmerkovskiy as her partner. "I am so curious to hear how he feels about Erin Andrews hosting," one source tells Us.

Chmerkovskiy's rep did not respond to calls for comment.
The celebrity contestants will be announced on Tuesday, Mar. 4, on Good Morning America.

Robin Thicke is still carrying an Olympic-sized torch for Paula Patton -- but she's been trying to extinguish the flame for months, sources reveal in the new issue of Us Weekly . Pals say the Baggage Claim actress, 38, started pushing for a split last August, right around the time her husband was making headlines for his raunchy VMAs duet with Miley Cyrus .
PHOTOS: Robin and Paula, the way they were
"Robin begged Paula to stand by him until the controversy died down," one insider tells Us of the Cyrus backlash, which was followed by a claim from New York City socialite Lana Scolaro that Thicke, 37, had grabbed her butt and made out with her. Adds another source: "They fought nonstop."
PHOTOS: The craziest moments from the 2013 VMAs
Pals say the split has been a long time coming, but Thicke is nonetheless struggling to adjust. Prior to the Feb. 24 announcement about their separation, the "Lost Without U" singer canceled shows in Atlanta and Orlando to spend time with his and Patton's 3-year-old son, Julian, at Disneyland.
"He lost money but didn't care. He was choked up and worried about his boy," a source tells Us of the "Blurred Lines" crooner, who told concertgoers on Feb. 27 that he was trying to "get [his] girl back."

Is it every girl's dream -- or worst nightmare?! Cribbing a page from Taylor Swift 's playbook, musician on the rise Cody Simpson says he isn't afraid to use his dating adventures as lyric fodder.
PHOTOS: Taylor Swift's high-profile romances
In fact, any girl who dates the 17-year-old Australian "Pretty Brown Eyes" crooner runs the risk of becoming Simpson's muse -- with fair warning, however. "I'm not ashamed of writing romantic songs," Simpson tells Us Weekly . "When I meet a girl, I'm like, 'I'm going to write music about you. If you're not up for that, please leave now.'"
Gaining fame after posting a YouTube cover of a Jason Mraz tune in 2008, Simpson confesses he's somewhat of a newbie when it comes to dating, but he knows for sure what he wants in the perfect girl.
"I haven't experienced a lot with girls -- but they're all I ever think about. I want a girl I can take to my hometown because I can be the perfect tour guide," the former competitive swimmer explains. "I know so many amazing cafes on the beach. It's a surfer's paradise!"
PHOTOS: Is Cody cuter than this young Hollywood hunk?
Simpson's perfect girl may just be model Gigi Hadid, the 18-year-old daughter of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster. "They've been friends for a while, it turned romantic this year," a source revealed to Us in November 2013, when the couple had been dating for five months. "They are very adventurous and like to party with friends. It's very easy between them."
Should Simpson choose to pen a tune about his bond with Hadid, the music is sure to be upbeat. "They have a beautiful, loving relationship," a second insider tells Us. "[It's] extraordinary at such a young age."

Who wants to see handyman Juan Pablo in action? The Bachelor star is taking requests for in-home repairs for Rochester Appliance, but in a series of new commercials.
PHOTOS: Meet Juan Pablo's bachelorettes
The upstate New York business has enlisted the hunky Venezuelan reality star for a series of four ads, which will debut during the final episodes of the latest season of The Bachelor. The first spot, which aired locally and online last week, featured the former soccer player dressed as an employee, greeting two shocked women as they peruse the store.
PHOTOS: Bachelor stars' scandalous pasts!
Galavis' second commercial for Rochester Appliance aired Monday night. In it, he is shown, overwhelmed by the deluge of in-home repair requests, made specifically for the reality star by eager customers. Rochester Appliance wrote on its blog Monday night, "Juan may be a little busy…. We have many other well trained, handsome technicians if you’re interested."
PHOTOS: Bachelor breakups and bling
So how exactly did the Bachelor go from roses to refrigerators? The spots were actually filmed in the store back in December while visiting some college friends, as a favor for a close pal. Dean Eaton, who owns Rochester Appliance, told the L.A. Times he approached the reality star because the two shared a close connection: Eaton's brother-in-law happened to play soccer with Galavis at Roberts Wesleyan College.
PHOTOS: Failed reality TV romances
"When I found out Juan was the next Bachelor I immediately contacted him and asked him to be in commercials for my small business," Eaton told the paper. Galavis, who was compensated for starring in the spots, still did "a huge favor" for Rochester Appliance.
"We are a very small store in Rochester, N.Y.," Eaton said. "Juan just put us on the map."
PHOTOS: The biggest Bachelor splits of all time
Galavis, who met the parents of final four contestants Andi, Nikki, Clare, and Renee in Monday evening's episode, will return Tuesday evening for the anticipated fantasy suite dates.
In the meantime, watch and tell Us: what do you think of his second commercial?
